Franklin Park Diner: A Classic American Treasure for Every Meal

I've had breakfast here a few times in the last few months. Delicious! Eggs Benedict, Corned Beef Hash, Omelettes, Crispy Hash Browns, French Toast. Everything has been great. The staff is always friendly with great service. Edit: Now I've had dinner too. Greek Salad with grilled chicken and my son had a cheeseburger and fries. All was great! Photos attached. (The pickle came with the burger not the salad). Again, friendly staff - great service.

Food was just amazing! Owner Stefanos has turned this former pizzeria into a delicious Jersey diner. Portions are huge. We really enjoyed our delicious omelette, hash browns, sweet potato fries,Chocolate Waffle and Avocado Egg toast ( definitely worth a try). Service was quick and excellent This place gets super busy on weekends so prepare to wait. You can order coffee while you wait.

Made our way to Princeton NJ,on our way we stopped of lunch at Franklin Park Diner.There were alot of restaurants and dinning places to consider.But we wanted something more of a family experience.We won't disappointed.This place is smaller in size and it not only served good food,the setting,the atmosphere more catered to that of a family setting.The staff was very helpful and friendly.Made us feel at home.So I highly recommend this Diner,I had the California burger ,with a side of Fries.

I highly recommend! I love coming to this diner. This is a NJ diner staple. Servers and staff are very friendly and make you feel more at home then a patron in an eatery. That is hard to come by. A mother-daughter team working there always offers great conversation and makes all feel welcome. Today Mary took care of us and she was beyond sweet to all of her guests. I usually take out, pretty much daily, but dining in is great, relaxing, and enjoyable. Items Ordered on Recent Visit: -Steak & Eggs -French Onion Soup -Greek Salad -Chicken Fajita Wrap To Go: -Quart Chicken Soup -Disco Fries Pros: 1. Their soups are great. I usually buy one of their chicken by the quart daily. The Onion Soup has good flavor and is not packed with cheese. I wanted more. 2. Steak & Eggs was awesome. My husband said that his strip steak was really tender and very good. It is served w/ Hash Browns and Toast. 3. The Greek Salad is huge and fresh. It is now part of my lunch for tomorrow. 4. The Chicken Fajita Wrap was tender and gratifying. It is served w/ a large portion of French Fries & Coke Slaw and a pickle. This is also apart of the next day’s lunch. 5. Love the Disco Fries. I literally eat them almost daily. 6. Fair pricing for large and tasty portions. 7. The Diner really seems to care about it’s customers. Other Items Ordered in the Past: 1. Burgers are really savory and enjoyable. 2. Milkshakes are large and delightful. 3. Potato Skins are also very good. You can also ask for what you want on them and they will accommodate. 4. Buffalo Chicken Wrap & Hoagie. My only complaint is that I wish it were spicier.

Definitely the best! The waitress was so polite in taking our order! The best ambiance!! Food was just amazing! Delicious omelette, hash browns and sweet potato fries was lip smacking! Will definitely be back when in NJ!

We went last night to check it out. We live very close and haven't been there in many years since it was the old pizza restaurant. The menu is extensive. There is something for everyone. The service is excellent - everyone is extremely friendly and courteous. The atmosphere is nice, quiet and laid back. It is a very clean place. Our meals were good, better than average, though not incredible. The portions are very large. We both were only able to eat half our meals and had enough to bring home for lunch today. My wife had the salmon and it had to be a 3/4 pound slab! She had the dinner special with the matzo ball soup and the matzo ball was about the size of a softball! I had the eggplant parm + linguini and it was good, though I wasn't excited by the sauce.

We were immediately greet and sat promptly. The server was an absolute sweetheart. Food came out fast and was absolutely delicious, huge portions for an amazing price. The atmosphere was pleasant, if im in the area ill definitely stop again.

I visited the Franklin Park Diner in Franklin Park, NJ, yesterday, and the food was amazing. The location was straightforward to find, and there were plenty of parking spaces. I went around 3 pm on a Sunday, and the place was empty, to my surprise. The atmosphere inside was pretty normal for a diner, with a couple of TVs playing the local news, and the place was clean. My server was extremely attentive and nice. Checking up on us a lot, but not to the point it was annoying. The menu featured almost anything you could put your mind to, with five pages of possible orders. The food came out very quickly, and it was amazing. I ordered the double play, which came with chocolate chip pancakes (extra charge), scrambled eggs, bacon, and home fries. I split this with my mom, and it was plenty of food. Overall, the Franklin Park Diner had amazing food with a great atmosphere, and I would definitely recommend it if you're ever in the area.
